Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications to understand panel layouts, component configurations, and wiring connections.
Select and assemble electrical components, including circuit breakers, relays, switches, terminals, and control devices, according to assembly drawings and bill of materials (BOM).
Mount and wire electrical components onto back panels, DIN rails, and enclosures, ensuring proper alignment, spacing, and routing of wires and cables for optimal functionality and serviceability.
Cut, strip, crimp, and terminate electrical wires and cables using hand tools, power tools, and automated equipment, following established wiring practices and industry standards.
Test and troubleshoot assembled panels to verify proper wiring, continuity, and functionality, performing insulation resistance tests, voltage checks, and functional tests as needed.
Install and integrate control devices, interface modules, and communication interfaces into control panels, ensuring compatibility with control systems and PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) platforms.
Document panel assembly and wiring activities, recording all modifications, deviations, and component substitutions in accordance with engineering change orders (ECOs) and quality control procedures.
Collaborate with engineering teams, project managers, and customers to address design requirements, resolve technical issues, and ensure compliance with project specifications and deadlines.
