A steel erector is essential in building projects, responsible for assembling and placing the structural framework. They follow blueprints closely to ensure accurate installation of steel beams and columns, setting the foundation for further construction work.

WHAT WE OFFER YOU

WHAT WILL YOU DO

  1. Assist in the preparation of work areas for insulation installation, including measuring, cutting, and fitting insulation materials to size;

  2. Install insulation materials, such as fiberglass, foam, and cellulose, in walls, ceilings, floors, and other areas as specified in construction plans and blueprints;

  3. Apply insulation materials using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment, ensuring proper placement, coverage, and sealing;

  4. Seal joints, seams, and penetrations with appropriate sealants and adhesives to prevent air leakage and moisture intrusion;

  5. Install vapor barriers and insulation supports as needed to enhance the effectiveness of insulation materials;

  6. Coordinate with other tradespeople and subcontractors to integrate insulation work with other construction activities, such as framing, drywall installation, and HVAC installation;

  7. Follow safety regulations and guidelines on job sites, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to established safety protocols;

  8. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the proper storage and disposal of materials, tools, and equipment;

  9. Assist in the cleanup and removal of debris and waste materials from job sites as needed;

  10. Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in insulation installation techniques and materials.

WHAT IS EXPECTED OF YOU

  • Previous experience in insulation installation or a related field preferred;

  • Familiarity with insulation materials, tools, and techniques used in construction projects;

  • Ability to read construction plans, specifications, and blueprints;

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work;

  • Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and working in confined spaces;

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions from supervisors;

  • Valid driver's license is preferable.
