In ORANJEGROEP's Infrastructure Department, we deliver essential groundwork and support for construction and industrial projects. Our team handles everything from groundwork to complex installations, ensuring each project runs smoothly and meets high standards. WHAT WE OFFER YOU

We provide transport to your workplace or a company car;
Possibility to work overtime on long-term projects;
You will receive your salary weekly, every Friday;

Help to get important certificates (BSN, VCA, GPI).

WHAT WILL YOU DO

Assist with the setup and preparation of construction sites, including clearing debris, leveling ground, and marking out boundaries as needed;
Perform excavation and trenching activities using hand tools and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and guidelines;
Assist in the installation of underground utilities, such as water lines, sewer pipes, and electrical conduits, following established procedures and specifications;
Operate heavy machinery, including excavators, backhoes, and bulldozers, under the supervision of licensed operators;
Help with the placement and compaction of backfill materials to fill excavated areas and ensure proper support for structures and utilities;
Assist in the installation of retaining walls, fences, and other structural elements, ensuring alignment and stability;
Support the installation of drainage systems, including stormwater management features and erosion control measures;
Perform general labor tasks, such as carrying materials, moving equipment, and assisting other tradespeople as needed;
Follow safety regulations and guidelines on job sites, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to established safety protocols.

WHAT IS EXPECTED OF YOU

Previous experience in construction or related field preferred, with exposure to ground work considered a plus;
Ability to perform physical labor and work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment;
Basic understanding of construction principles and techniques, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills;
Familiarity with hand tools and small equipment commonly used in ground work, with a focus on safety and efficiency;
Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
