Perform flange installation, maintenance, and repair activities according to industry standards and project specifications;

Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and blueprints to determine flange specifications and installation requirements;

Prepare flange surfaces by cleaning, machining, and aligning as needed to ensure proper fit and seal;

Install gaskets, bolts, and other components in accordance with flange assembly procedures;

Torque flange bolts to specified values using calibrated torque wrenches and other tools;

Inspect flange connections for leaks, corrosion, or other damage and perform repairs or replacements as necessary;

Collaborate with other trades and departments to coordinate work and achieve project goals;

Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a mechanical maintenance or related training program preferred;

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Flange Mechanic or similar role in an industrial setting;

Strong knowledge of flange installation procedures, torqueing techniques, and gasket selection;.

Familiarity with flange materials, specifications, and industry standards (e.g., ASME, ANSI);

Proficiency in using hand and power tools commonly used in flange maintenance and repair;

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision to ensure quality workmanship;

Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment;

Commitment to safety and adherence to established safety guidelines and procedures;
