WHAT WILL YOU DO

Read drawings and welding symbols to understand welding needs
Set up welding equipment and ensure safety measures are in place
Prepare workpieces by cleaning and securing them
Perform welding to join metal parts, following procedures and quality standards
Monitor welding settings to ensure good weld quality
Inspect welds for defects and make repairs if needed
Follow safety rules to keep the work area safe for everyone

WHAT IS EXPECTED OF YOU

Skilled in electrode welding
Can read and understand engineering drawings and welding symbols
Experienced with materials like carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy steel
Able to weld in different positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead)
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality welds
Good team player with strong communication skills
Committed to safety and following safety rules
Valid welding certification with updated stamps

WHAT WILL YOU DO

Assist in the installation of trim, molding, and other decorative elements to enhance the appearance of interior spaces;

Aid in the preparation and installation of cabinetry, shelving, and other built-in fixtures according to project specifications and design plans;

Support the hanging of doors, windows, and hardware, ensuring proper fit, alignment, and functionality;

Assist with wood staining, painting, and finishing techniques to protect and enhance the natural beauty of wood surfaces;

Help with the installation and finishing of flooring materials, including hardwood, laminate, tile, and vinyl, with attention to detail and craftsmanship;

Assist in the construction and installation of custom furniture pieces, such as bookcases, benches, and entertainment centers, under the guidance of experienced carpenters;

Collaborate with other tradespeople, including electricians, plumbers, and painters, to coordinate work activities and ensure seamless project execution;

Learn to use hand and power tools, including saws, drills, sanders, and nail guns, safely and effectively to perform carpentry tasks;

Follow safety regulations and guidelines on job sites, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to established safety protocols.

WHAT WE EXPECT

Previous experience in construction or related field preferred, with exposure to finishing carpentry considered a plus;
Basic knowledge of carpentry techniques and materials, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills;
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude;
Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks that may involve heavy lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods;
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing work of the highest quality.
