A concrete carpenter installs the concrete formwork foundations in the early stages of a building or other construction project. As a concrete carpenter, your crucial tasks include establishing the fundamental structure of buildings.

WHAT WILL
YOU DO

  • Collaborate with project teams to develop commissioning plans and schedules for E&I systems;

  • Review design drawings, specifications, and vendor documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements;

  • Oversee the installation and testing of electrical and instrumentation equipment and systems during the construction phase;

  • Develop commissioning procedures and test scripts for E&I systems, including instrumentation loops, control panels, and motor controls;

  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure timely completion of commissioning activities;

  • Conduct functional tests, performance tests, and acceptance tests on E&I systems to verify compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements;

  • Document commissioning activities, including test results, deviations, and corrective actions, in accordance with project procedures;

  • Provide technical support and training to operations and maintenance teams during the startup phase;

  • Participate in project closeout activities, including turnover documentation and lessons learned sessions.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail;

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment;

  • Project management experience is a plus;

  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
