WHAT WILL YOU DO

Operate blasting machines to clean or smooth surfaces of materials like metal or concrete.
Prepare materials and surfaces for blasting by cleaning and checking them.
Use safety equipment, such as masks and gloves, to protect yourself while working.
Follow instructions carefully to make sure the blasting is done correctly.
Check your work to ensure that the surfaces are properly cleaned and ready for the next step.
Maintain and clean blasting machines and tools.
Work with your team to finish tasks safely and on time.

WHAT IS EXPECTED OF YOU

Previous experience working as a blaster;
Knowledge of blasting equipment and safety rules;
Able to follow instructions and work from simple plans;
Good attention to detail and able to check your own work;
Able to work well with a team and follow safety rules;
Comfortable standing for long periods and using tools;
A valid driver’s license is preferred.
