As insulation fitter you will apply and remove insulation material and sheet metal. The work mainly takes place outside within petrochemical plants. Occasionally, this could be at height. Safety is paramount and you must not be afraid of heights.

Description

Chemelot staat voor een chemisch georiënteerd terrein van maar liefst 800 hectare groot in Zuid Limburg. Het terrein is uniek vanwege tal van elementen: de centrale ligging in Zuid Limburg, in de regio van Geleen, Sittard, Heerlen en Maastricht, maar ook de goede bereikbaarheid per spoor, weg, pijpleiding en vliegveld, de aanwezigheid van een groot aantal fabrieken die elkaar aanvullen, de unieke samenwerking tussen fabrieken, research en development en pilot plants.
Inmiddels werken er zo'n 8.100 mensen op het terrein en is een veelvoud daarvan verbonden met Chemelot.

Als isolatiemonteur ga jij isolatie en beplating aanbrengen en verwijderen. De werkzaamheden vinden voornamelijk plaats in petrochemische fabrieken, buiten en af en toe op hoogte. Veiligheid staat voorop en je hebt geen last van hoogtevrees.
